What Underwear Do I Wear Under a Tight Prom Dress

What do you wear under your prom dress?

Bra/No Bra? Panties/Thong/No Underwear? Do you wear something fancy and sexy in case something happens later in the night?

And are we expected to wear a garter?

You should wear the foundation garments that your dress requires to look flattering, while remaining comfortable, so I suggest if you want to wear hosiery, wear pantyhose, not stockings with garters, because garters are as annoying as fuck to dance, sit and move in. There's a reason why women stopped wearing them all the time.

I think a part of really getting dressed to the nines is having the right undergarments, and that might be spanks and cotton panties and a simple bra, or it might be an elaborate foundation garment you need to custom order. Get as fancy as you like, but think of how it looks with the dress, and how comfortable it's going to be to wear. If you're not used to fancy, or frilly lingerie, you're probably going to find much of it is rather uncomfortable and SUCKS for wearing under formal wear.

I just wore a regular ol' t-shirt bra and probably either bikini or girl-boxer style underwear, nothing special. I saw no reason to go all fancy and I definitely didn't see any reason to wear a garter.

does everyone have sex after prom? I never had a boyfriend until I was 24, so I didn't actually have sex after prom. Just went dancing and then went out to eat at a restaurant with a friend.

  I have heard similar things also. I have heard that prom is sort of like a "pre wedding" type event where people make it so big and important. It was not that big or important to me.

Depends on the dress. Mine wasn't very structured, it was more slinky so I had to wear shapewear. If i had a structured dress then id go braless.
